Office Mobile 15 and Windows Phone 8 planning underway

Windows Phone 7 has just been released and the teams are already gearing up for the next version of Windows Phone.In another job post the team states that the planning phase of Windows Phone 8 and Office Mobile 15 is just getting started and Office Mobile 15 would be available on Windows Phone 8.

Here is what exactly the job post reads-

If so, we are looking for an experienced Test Lead who wants to make an important contribution to this extremely strategic and exciting area. Our team owns responsibility of developing mobile optimized versions of for Microsoft Office flagship products like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote and SharePoint Workspaces on Windows Mobile devices. Mobile is one of the fastest growing and most cutting edge business for Microsoft. We enable our customers to use Microsoft Office Mobile on their Windows Mobile phone to get the familiar Microsoft look and feel as well as the services that they’re used to. Even when they are on the road, they can open and edit Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, OneNote Notebooks and Pages and access their latest SharePoint documents. We are just putting the last touches on Office Mobile 2010 on Windows Phone 7 which will be a very competitive device and a breakthrough for Microsoft in the Mobile Market. With Office 15 and Windows Phone 8 planning phase just getting under way, now is also the perfect time to join us and help shape the future of Office Mobile 15 on Windows Phone 8 as we plan to create the next wave of innovation that will lead our product to even greater heights. Office 15 is expected to be released in 2013,so it would be interesting to see when Windows Phone 8 would be released.
